Superhero Students

 Superhero Students is a program dedicated to improving the future of Warren County.  The Superhero Student program commits itself to:

  • modeling positive lifestyles
  • providing personal educational tools for success
  • working collaboratively with schools for successful student outcome
  • growing a compassionate community for all people.Superhero Students is actively seeking energetic volunteers that want to make a difference in the life of a child.  You can apply here.

Monday and Wednesday afternoons in two elementary schools in Warren County

3:30-3:45              Snacks and Getting the Wiggles Out


3:45 – 4:30           Targeted Homework Help for Students


                If students do not have homework, there will be a reading station as well as other educational activities for students to remain engaged and learning.


4:30-4:45              Group Educational Games


4:45 – 5:00           Pack Up to Leave




The success of the program will be evaluated through the following sources:


  • Student grades- report cards

  • Teacher comments – teacher evaluation

  • Confidence of students in school subjects – self reporting by students

  • Location and communication with school personnel – leadership and volunteer evaluations

  • Attendance reports on youth will show that it is an ongoing success – reported by liaison
